    A Classic Odyssey - Dubrovnik Photo Tour



    Dubrovnik and its Riviera, Konavle and Ston, have the heritage of centuries of noble skills of the best architects and artists in the warm Mediterranean climate, which besides the Mediterranean vegetation flourishes the subtropic one with scentful lemons, oranges, tangerines, luxurious palm trees and agave plants which decorate the renaissance parks and flowering gardens of the medieval stone palaces and secretive monasteries. This is a true paradise for lovers of photo-taking. On the route to Cavtat and during excursion to Mljet National Park you will have the opportunity to take photos of the panoramic sites in this part of Croatia. Programme also includes Zagreb and the first Croatian Motor Car Museum Ferdinand Budicki where the most successful drivers of oldtimers on the Dubrovnik-Cavtat rally will be awarded and where we will present 115 years of automobilism in Croatia.
    Travel programme:

    Day 1: Arrival to Dubrovnik, checking into the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 2: After breakfast sightseeing of the city with a lunch break. Meeting with the members of the Dubrovnik Oldtimer Club.

    Day 3:
    Bus excursion to Ston. Visiting the walls of Ston and the ancient salt factory. After lunch returning to Dubrovnik. Dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 4:
    Boat trip to Mljet National Park. Sightseeing of the Mljet National Park starts with two unique salty lakes, which initially were freshwater lakes. Taking a walk under century-old pine trees. Sightseeing the islet of Saint Mary located in the middle of the Big Lake and visiting the ancient Benedictine monastery dating from the 12th century. After lunch returning to Dubrovnik. Dinner at the hotel, overnight stay.

    Day 5:
    Photo tour with oldtimers to Konavle with wine tasting in the Karaman winery, lunch at the country house of Čilipi and coffee in Cavtat. Occasional stopping at panoramic sites to take photos. Return to Dubrovnik, dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 6: Plane departure for Zagreb. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel in the city. Free personal time.

    Day 7:
    After breakfast visiting the Ferdinand Budicki Motor Car Museum, with photo presentation of the wealth of Museum’s photographs, witnessing the history of motor cars in Croatia. Sightseeing of the city with the oldtimers, with special emphasis on historical automobilistic sites in the city. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight stay.

    Day 8:
    Breakfast at the hotel, visiting the Museums of the City of Zagreb. Viewing the collection of the photos cherishing the visual memories of the City of Zagreb. Photos are grouped according to different themes (streets, squares, people, monuments, panoramic views, graffiti, etc.).     Transfer to the airport and departure.

    This travel programme can be arranged throughout the year for groups from 2 to 20 persons. Accommodation is possible in three and four star hotels, while we can organise the transport. Guided tours are given in Croatian, English and German language, while special inquiries have to be made for other languages.
